Therapeutic indications
The greatest healing value of water is represented by the dissolved healing hydrogen sulphide gas in the amount of 1.9 mg/l, which is almost twice as much as the sufficient amount of 1 mg/l for the water to have a healing effect.
Sulfur from sulphide mineral waters is easily resorbed through the skin, intestines and lungs. Its resorption is greater at higher water temperatures and acidic reactions.
Over 90% of hydrogen sulfide is resorbed through the skin and the respiratory system, and the maximum concentration in the blood is reached after bathing.
Apart from hydrogen sulphide, the high quality of mineral water lies in its temperature over 90 degrees, which gives it great balneotherapy value, as it can be used by bathing as part of a series of hydrotherapy procedures, exercises and underwater massages.
